Download: BUTT for Windows MacOS and Linux
About:
‘BUTT’ (Broadcast using this tool) is an easy to use, multi OS streaming tool. It supports ShoutCast and IceCast. butt runs on Linux, MacOS and Windows.
When you start ‘BUTT’ the first time, it will create a default config in your home directory. In order to connect to server, you need to add a new server in the config window. To do that open the settings window and click on [ADD]. Now fill in the input fields with the server data and press [ADD]. The most up to date server details can only be found in the ‘DJ Room‘.
By clicking on the [Save Settings] button, ‘BUTT’ will save all changes you have made and will remind you about unsaved changes when you close it.
Streaming:
To start streaming you must first turn off the AutoDJ in the ‘DJ Room‘. After, just click the [play] button and it will try to connect to the server until you press the stop button.
You can change the audio settings (bitrate, channels) while you are streaming but for Play Hardstyle only use the Bit-Rate displayedin the ‘DJ Room’ as you will receive buffering otherwise. (Works only for mp3)
However, you can update your DJ Name on the fly. You only need to type your name into the {Song Name} input field at the [Stream] tab and press [OK].
