I have been busy updating security on Play Hardstyle and you may have noticed a few new things. One change that will affect new users is the captcha on registration. It’s our new first line of defence against spammers to make the site more secure and my job much easier.
Along with this I have personally filtered through more than 500 Play Hardstyle registered users and deleted over half. If your account has been accidently deleted I apologise, I can’t return your account and you will need to re-register. Don’t panic if you have… added a name to your account, your username is somewhat DJ/Raver like or the username reflects the email address and is not odd looking you should be safe. But if your account looked something like this User:tbise1906 email:jauerts.n.0.0@gmail.com and you have not added any other details you could assume that you are gone.

Anyway moving forward, you may notice a few new alert boxes. Please pay attention to these because I would not have used them if it wasn’t important.

So I hope you learned a lot form this post, as running this place is not just awesome Hard Dance tunes and wicked mc’s, every week or so I need to put in at least 5 minutes of effort.
