The residents of Play Hardstyle are getting together to bring you uncompromised Live Hard Dance music this Saturday night. Tune in to DJ’s Tyler Fisher, Atomik, Apollis and Triple Zero thumping out most of your favourite Hard Dance genres starting at 7pm.
The team will be streaming live from Apollis’s house so if your gearing up for a big night or deciding to stay in for the weekend before Defqon, make sure you tune in and crank the speakers!
This will be one night of hard dance not to be missed! Lots shenanigans by all the boys as they consume more alcohol then any man should, getting loose just for you listening pleasure.
There will be no set DJ times planned for this event.

Keni is a Brisbane based Hardstyle DJ and producer with a driving beat and aggressively risky mixing technique. Not afraid to musically go outside the norm, for over five years he has brought his vigorous style and enthusiastic stage presence to many events throughout Australia. Whether performing in one of the regular events in his hometown of Brisbane at places like the Family, The Arena, Blackout, Bassline, one of the residency’s he has gained over the past few years or mixing it up in Sydney, Melbourne or Perth (United) his passion and enthusiasm for his art can be seen every time he is behind the decks. Keni’s dedication to his craft has led him to supporting the likes of Brennan Heart (NL), Toneshifterz (NL/AU), Technikal/Technikore (UK), Amnesys(IT), Alien-T(IT), Steve Hill (UK/AU), Sc@r (UK), Chaos (UK).
Finding inspiration from all genres of Dance music has lead to his undying passion for all things Hard Dance. Keni’s style can best be described as “ uplifting/hands in the air infused hardstyle ”. His major musical influences have ranged from old school Hardstyle legends such as Luna, Pavo, Showtek and the Donkey Rollers to the nu-style sounds of D-block & S-t-fan and the Noisecontrollers.
2010 is looking to be a busy year for Keni as he working on both solo and collaborated productions as well as a busy performing schedule. Big things are to come from this rising Hardstyle star.

QLD Hard Dance Radio – Launch Night
Review:
The night went off without a hitch, DJ Apollis filling in for DJ Rushnosh, mastering the decks and playing an amazing first set for the online launch of Play Hardstyle’s ‘Queensland Hard Dance Radio‘. Follow up set played by Atomik continued the night at an awesome tempo setting the bar for next weeks ‘Monday night Hardcore show’.
DJ’s Apollis and Keni are set to play Hardstyle tonight followed by Apollis and Atomik playing Hardcore and Hard Trance on Wednesday and finally DJ Adrenalin playing Hardstyle on Friday night.
We have received a lot interest to play future sets on Play Hardstyle from DJ’s Tyler Fisher, Beau Bressington(f&e), Billy Ahfock and Gavin Maxson so stay tuned for more!

Tonight signifies Play Hardstyle’s launch of the Queensland’s dedicated Hard Dance Radio. Kicking off Monday night with Hardcore sets, Dj’s Apollis and Atomik will play back to back 7 – 9pm live online. Get on and support your local DJ’s tonight and chat with likeminded people. In the following days to come we have more sets from DJ’s Apollis, Keni and Adrenalin Pumping the best Hard Trance and Hardstyle tunes (See here for set times) .

ABOUT ME:
I started djing at the end of 2009 after being in the rave scene since 2008. I have always been a huge fan of music, starting out as a drummer back when I was 13 years old. I love how music can make people want to get up of their butts and dance like crazy, whether there any good or not, it brings out one’s personality.
Being able to provide people with energy is what got me interested in djing. I bought my first lot of decks and spent countless hours every day learning. I was terrible at first, beat timing and counting was easy for me (having being a drummer) but I found the equipment hard to learn at first and it took many months before I started getting the hang of it.
It’s been almost 2 years (December 2011 – 2 years exact) since I started and I am truly happy with my progress. I got my first gig at a club night in Brisbane “Bassline” held at the Step Inn, Fortitude Valley, Queensland, and was put on the list for the 2nd event, which sadly has been cancelled to new management of the location. I was also listed to play at two bush doofs this year, one being held on New Year’s Eve.
Currently I’m working on tightening my transitions and maintaining the style and energy I bring to my mixes. I put out mixes every month or so in the various genres listed above and you can check them all out over at mixes.djfez/djs/apollis.
I will be playing live on playhardstyle.com on Tuesday nights at 7pm (hard dance/hardstyle) and Wednesday nights at 7pm (UK hardcore).
